There is a quick overview of the founders and their story about starting the plant based Rooted Cafe. After this the learner has some interactive practice with some menu items and finishes with a knowledge check.
This course was developed to help new hires practice and learn menu items.
After learning about the founders the learner can dive into the menu. There is a lightbox into the menu and the learner is expected to study on their own. The learner has two game like drag and drop interactive practice slides in the Articulate Storyline course. Finally they have a quiz about the menu.

The Design Process
Initial Design and Consultation with Subject Matter Experts
Darcy, one of the co-founders, wanted me to use the look and feel from their website. I had permission to use all their photographs from their website and their Instagram. We spoke several times and I sent a few versions to Darcy along the way. I used her input to make some edits before we published the final project.
After our initial conversations I used Miro to plan out the slides I would then develop into an Articulate storyline course.
Development
Last, I developed the course in Articulate Storyline. As I said before I was in communication with the SMEs often to make edits they wanted. I sourced and edited graphics from Canva and photographs from the Rooted Cafe website and Instagram.
